During the time he served in the building industry, carrying out various carpentry and joinery tasks as a sub contractor for various building contractors, Glenn had witnessed first hand how wrong some of the builders were running their businesses. This resulted in poor relationships with the clients, and on many a job, whilst the standard of work was high, the clients were still left unhappy, feeling they had been stung by hidden extra's, and kept in the dark with certain tasks until they had been completed and needed paying for.

In Glenn's opinion, this is wrong, and helps towards giving the builders the bad name that they seem to have today.

He decided to do something about it, hence, Lodgewood Building Services was born.
